Fresca is a special combination of function & leisure. At a wool length of 1.5 to 2” what this hide lacks in wool length, Fresca more than compensates for with its chart topping amount of cushiony support it! One of a few, Fresca’s unique features are tied to the unique breed pairings of Dorset/Suffolk’s wool durability; American Tunis’ creamy wool coloring & length & Texel makes for a soft, fluffy, compression style texture. This fleece is an IDEAL choice for anyone requiring long timespans sitting or lying down. A great choice for a baby or toddler, or someone in need of a wheelchair or requiring extensive time in bed.

TErminology & NOTES ABOUT our Sheephides:
LAMBS WOOL: The first growth of wool on a sheep. It is any Sheep’s softest wool & therefore the most premium wool available. “Lamb’s wool” is a common term used in garment & yarn descriptions to emphasize it’s softness & scarcity.
LAMB LEATHER: Yearling leather is an amazing combo of durable, yet impressively thin & supple. These characteristics all it to be used effective in a diverse number of settings wether draped over a couch, a chair, floor, bed, etc. this soft, white suede it up for the task.
VM/ VEGETATION IN THE WOOL: These hides originate from a genuine grass fed sheep farm here in Wisconsin. They are from well loved, working sheep. You will find small amounts of tiny pieces vegetation (particles of hay, etc ) down low in the wool. This is common amongst sheep that are pasture focused vs. those blanketed for wool. This vegetation does not deter from the hides soft, cushiony function nor it’s gorgeous appearance. It’s only apparent if you search for it & is easily removable.
