Our hands on experience raising hogs from farrow to finish allows us to be involved in every step of our pigs care and development. We continue to utilize our direct experience, research and customer feedback to customize what heritage breeds we use and how we choose to feed and raise them.
A large majority of heritage breed pigs are well suited for pasturing and prefer to live outdoors year round. Additionally each heritage breed is known for excellence in one or a couple particular meat or carcass features. All excellent, but fell short of what we believe premium heritage pork is capable of. We felt we needed a heritage breed that contained a vast majority of all of those breed specific speciality meat qualities....and so we made one! We worked with multiple heritage pig breeds until we created a speciality breed combination that's premium cuts quality we are proud to share with you.
